I am a molecular geneticist with an M.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Illinois Chicago, where I worked in both the Igić Lab and the Ashley Lab.
My thesis research classified the self-incompatibility system in the Cactaceae family, combining laboratory genetics with computational analysis in R, Python, and Linux.
